Just in time for half-term, kids will go free at The Shard between the 17th and 23rd of February!
Being at the top of the tallest building in Western Europe is a pretty amazing feeling. In The Shard’s elevator, we love listening to the music by the London Philharmonic Orchestra while shooting up 255 meters at a rate of 6 meters per second.
Once at the top, it’s so much fun to point out the Houses of Parliament, London Bridge and 40 miles beyond. Book online in advance to skip the line.
The Shard really is going all out! For Valentine’s, there’ll be a pop up Lanson champagne bar on level 69, and on the 14th of February, between 4-7pm, a live string quartet will play.
London really does roar with life: a whirl of Victorian markets and soaring glass skyscrapers, world-class museums and royal palaces. For more tips for what to do while you’re there, check out our city guide to two unforgettable days in the British capital.
