How We Are Hiring Interns in Berlin
At GetYourGuide Berlin we’re about to build our ideal team to deal with the work ahead of us: online marketing, product management, copywriting and customer support. I have outlined this before, but I’d like to share how we’re going about finding the right people for our office.
In mid-January we began looking for English speaking people for our customer support team and we were very happy with the response we got from one of these “expat” sites below:

Berlin Office Coming Along Nicely
We blogged about our plans to branch out to Berlin earlier, which we are proud to announce today:
We’ve had the opportunity to move into a nice office in the end of December 2010 in the very center of Berlin. Since then we did all kind of things to set up a startup environment like settting up insurances, telephone system, Internet etc.
The office is located right in the center of Berlin’s old town surrounded by the Alexanderplatz, the Rosenthaler Platz with its extended eating possibilities and the geekmeet par excellence St. Oberholz as well as the once popular Kastanienallee. Continue reading
Since going online about a year ago we’ve become one of the world’s fastest growing online travel companies. Still an unknown start-up in 2009, we are now partnering with major international travel companies and many more are being added constantly. 2010 was a very good year for us and Zurich has become – so to speak – too small for us. Therefore we’re looking to expand and open a second office in Berlin. We’ll be keeping our Zurich office as well.
