About Johannes
I was born in Düsseldorf and raised in Cologne (Germany), which is already a paradox in itself, since the two cities have a long tradition in fighting each other on the hot and interlinked topics of beer and carneval. Talking about strange turns in one’s life, I met German-Chinese Tao Tao at a boarding school in Virginia (USA) at the age of 17 and five years later we decided to launch an Internet Start-Up, while being Physics and Biochemistry students at ETH Zurich. Apart from hanging out in our office, I try my best to leave the digital world, preferentially while hiking the Swiss alps or raving in Zurich’s incredible electro clubs. If I had any regular free time, I would read, play bass in jazz bands and basically do most activities that are offered on GetYourGuide.
